The First Day

Mark Feuder stepped into the DADA classroom. He was the Professor, and he quietly and patiently waited for his students to come.

Javier Cross ran as fast as possible, as he was almost late for class, as he was starting to have a hard time breathing, because of how fast he ran, as he just had to run 10,000 miles, just to get here.

"Sorry i'm late, Professor," Cross admitted, as he sat down on a desk.

"You're late?" Mark called, stifling a short laugh.

"Yes, Professor, I was hunting down some death-eaters and ripping out their throats to strike fear into the hearts of Voldemort's lot around the world, sir," Cross said, as he saluted to Professor Mark, when he then added,"I even decapitated at least 1000 of them, just to make the statement that someone is coming for them, sir," as he then went to look at Mark at that very moment.

"Alright," said Mark, waiting for three other students to come.

"How are you doing, Professor?" as Cross brought a whole bag of fruits, not just the traditional apple for the teacher, either, for Mark, when he goes to watch him.

"Good, Cross," answered Mark. "What about you?"

"Well...to be honest...Kyle has a girlfriend, now, and that i...." Cross couldn't finish the sentence to Mark, as he feared that he would get offended if he says it outloudly.

"Okay," Mark said, raising an eyebrow at Cross as three more Gryffindor students walked into the classroom.

Cross goes to behave himself, as he went to say hello to the students, as he said,"How are you doing?"

"Let's start class," Mark announced. "Today, we will learn the Stunning Spell."

Cross raised his hands, as he asked Mark,"Do you mean the Stupify spell, sir?" as he goes to look at Professor Mark.

"Stupefy," corrected Mark gently.

"Sir there's something wrong with me if i can't even remember to spell the name of the spells, correctly," Cross admitted, as now he was beginning to sweat, all of a sudden, at that moment.

Mark rolled his eyes. "You're fine, Cross."

"Alright, sir, where would we begin, in that case?" Cross had to ask Mark, since Cross was badly out of shape when it came to fighting, the more he thought about it, when he went to look at Mark, especially the fact of the matter that he couldn't even remember the spells, correctly, at all.

"Hmmm..." wondered Mark thoughtfully. "Perhaps we could try the Dueling Room?"

"I volunteer, Professor Mark, sir!!!" as Cross got off of the desk and saluted to Mark, at that moment, as he was eager to prove his fighting talent and skill, at this point.

"No," answered Mark firmly. "Travers and Bogrod." He picked out.

"Alright, sir," Cross nodded at Mark, as he goes to watch the Volunteers, who felt rather competent enough to follow Mark's instructions, as he watched them walk to him.

Sigh. Another day, another lesson.

"How are you doing, sir?" as Cross went to look at the guy who was sitting behind him at that very instant.
