Medical Overtake

Javier Cross was thinking on how to deal with the Death-Eater Camps, as he just recently decided to get his platoon to get ready to destroy the camps as soon as they can free the prisoners.

If they can't free the prisoners, then there would be no hope left for any of them, even if they killed the heads of the death-eater camps, as Cross was getting his platoon set up in positions, before they start the fighting.

Mark saw Javier Cross thinking on the edge of the grassy hill. "Cross." He felt very queasy. "Four Aurors have died."

Cross felt very sick to his stomach, as it was bad enough that he had abused medical drugs, as of late, just to try to block out his dark mark's possibilities of possessing him, outrightly, when he killed Allie Shay, and mutilated her remains.

"How many Death-Eaters are in this camp?" Cross had to ask Mark, knowing that he was already sick to his stomach from the drug overtake.

"About two hundred and fifty," replied Mark, looking at a sheet of magical paper.

"A Little more than 5-on-1, isn't it, Mark?" Cross had to ask, as he wasn't feeling well-enough to be fighting like this, if his face, underneath his armor would prove anything, but he wouldn't dream of showing it in public, not even when his dark mark had started to act up, again, in which case, Cross was now in pain, as he tries to hold it in.

"Yeah," Mark admitted, looking at another sheet of paper. "We only got about sixty people."

Cross tries to force a smile to his face at Mark, when it was clearly obvious that underneath the helmet and smile, he was in pain from the dark mark, and his reflexes were getting very sluggish, lately, as he then added,"Funny...usually, those would be our kind of odds, remember, Mark?" Cross had to ask, before realizing that the pain his dark mark was putting him through was about to get him to crack out and scream.

Mark felt his Dark Mark was about to split open. He looked up into the sky, surprised at not seeing Voldemort flying overhead.

Cross was equally shocked, as well, as it meant that it might be their lucky day that Voldemort wasn't here, and that one of his elites came to check the camp, instead, but in any case, Cross finds it painful, just to keep himself from screaming out his pain, as he still had a hard time avoiding the screaming, especially when Cross is the easiest of the lot to get alienated, while Mark was the easiest of the lot to get manipulated, actually, second-easiest, as Isabella Black turned out to be easily manipulated and alienated more than Cross and Mark combined.

Mark looked up at the sky once more and saw lightning raging across.

Cross sincerely doubted that it was Zeus's electricity coming from the skies, or if that were the case, it would have killed the death-eaters at that moment.

In any case, Cross still found it hard not to scream out his pain, as now he needed so much help that it wasn't funny, especially when he was in torment from his dark mark.

Suddenly, Mark's Dark Mark stretched at his body physically and Mark fell to the ground, retching and gasping.

"Mark!!!!!" Cross said, as he ordered some of his men to get Mark somewhere safe, while the rest of the men would do their best to plan out the assault upon the Death-Eater Base, with the men they would have, at that very moment, since everyone in this platoon was trained to actually take on the odds of 10-to-1 or worse, anyway.

Mark groaned in pain and he fell down.

The medical group in Cross's platoon went to take Mark back to the base, as they couldn't afford Mark to be in his current condition, as it was, especially when Cross's own Dark Mark was getting the better of him, as of late.

'What the hell is wrong with me?' Cross thought to himself, as he watched the medical team doing everything in their power to make sure that they get Mark to the base's medical bay.

Mark's Dark Mark turned blacker and blacker.

Cross realized that his own Dark Mark was growing horns of its own, as now, it looked like Satan's horns, the moment he realized that it had at least 2 pairs of horns on the skull, now, which startled him.

Voldemort appeared right by them, cackling with mad laughter. Mark shot a Nefario curse at him.

Cross realized that Voldemort was by both Cross and Mark, as Cross's soldier Senses went to have him start fighting, by unleashing the Stupify Horriblis Spell he was practicing for weeks, on end, as the spell managed to connect with Voldemort's face, as it was meant to show the target's worst fears.When the spell connected, Cross sent the following thought to Mark,'Get to your kombat positions, Mark!' despite the fact of the matter that Cross's overdose of Medical Drugs are getting the better of him, as Cross went to take his position, as he went to unleash the Magic Drain Spell that was trapped within his D.N.A, unleashing a full-burst of it, enough to weaken, perhaps even remove, most enemies' magic from them, as it also harmed Voldemort, as Cross said to Mark with a blocked thought,'It'll only hold for a few minutes, we have to get to positions, Mark!' as Cross and Mark went to protect the base, with their lives.
